Site Assessment
An evaluation of the facility’s power needs and the best location for the generator. This includes considerations for load requirements, fuel supply, ventilation, and noise levels.
System Design
Engineers design a system t meets the facility’s specific power demands, selecting the appropriate size, type (diesel, natural gas, etc.), and configuration of the generator and associated equipment like transfer switches and control panels. Permitting and Compliance
Obtaining necessary permits and ensuring that the installation meets local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
Foundation and Mounting
Preparing the site by laying a foundation or mounting platform for the generator. This may involve constructing a concrete pad or installing vibration isolation mounts.
Electrical and Fuel Connections
Connecting the generator to the facility’s electrical system, typically through an automatic transfer switch that detects power loss and starts the generator. Fuel lines are also installed, connecting the generator to its fuel source.
Testing and Commissioning
Once installed, the generator undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it operates correctly and reliably under load conditions. This includes running the generator, checking fuel supply, and ensuring all systems function as intended.
Ongoing Maintenance

In many cases the end user will be able to sell power back to the grid when not used in an emergency or power outage.
